South African Amapiano sensation Uncle Waffles is set to headline the first edition of Pare Pare Rave, promising a night built around big sounds, high energy and the kind of atmosphere that is likely to keep the city moving long after midnight.
Known for her energetic performances and her role in pushing Amapiano onto international stages, Uncle Waffles has built a reputation for turning dance floors into full-blown experiences. Her Kampala appearance is therefore shaping up as one of the more anticipated additions to the city’s December entertainment season.
For Pare Pare Rave, bringing the star on board is a statement of intent.
The inaugural event is being positioned as more than just another night out, with organisers promising a heavy dose of Amapiano, nonstop energy and what they describe as “pure madness” and “enjoyment ku enjoyment.”
And with Uncle Waffles taking the headline slot, the expectation is clear: Kampala should be ready for a proper rave.
Fans eager to experience the Queen of Amapiano live are being encouraged to secure their tickets early, with Die Hard tickets currently available through Rave.ug.
For a city that traditionally goes big during the festive season, Pare Pare Rave could be arriving at exactly the right time and with Uncle Waffles behind the decks, December may have just found another soundtrack.
