The Unforgivable had a memorable night at the Uganda Film Festival (UFF) Awards as two of the talents behind the film, Michael Wawuyo Jr. and Simon Agola, took home individual honours.
Wawuyo Jr. won Best Actor in a Feature Film for his performance in The Unforgivable, while Agola was recognised with the Best Sound Design award for his work on the film.
The two wins cap a strong showing for the film, which had already attracted attention after receiving six nominations at this year's Uganda Film Festival. Directed by Martin Eric Matovu and Humphrey Nabimanya as the Executive Producer, The Unforgivable is an advocacy drama that tackles difficult and deeply personal themes through the story of Salaama.
