Joshua Baraka’s B’rakaland EA tour is heading to Mbarara this weekend, with the city set to host the final regional stop of the singer’s tour before he turns his attention to the much-anticipated Kampala finale in November.
Baraka will take the B’rakaland experience to Nkore Place, Mbarara, on Saturday, September 26, continuing a journey that has already taken him to Gulu, Arua and Mbale.
The Mbarara stop comes as the latest chapter in a tour built around music, movement and connection, giving Baraka an opportunity to meet audiences outside Kampala while sharing the story behind his growing musical journey.
For the singer, taking B’rakaland across the country has been about more than performing in different cities. It has created an opportunity to meet fans where they are, connect with people discovering his music for the first time and reconnect with those who have followed his rise.
That journey also mirrors the philosophy behind his partnership with Johnnie Walker, where Baraka serves as the brand’s Icon Walker in Uganda and the face of its latest Keep Walking campaign.
The campaign's message of continuing to move forward, even when the destination is still ahead, has become closely connected to Baraka's own story.
From his beginnings in Kawempe to becoming one of Uganda's recognised young musical voices, Baraka's career has been defined by a steady progression towards bigger audiences, stages and opportunities.
“Every stop on this tour has reminded me why the journey matters,” Baraka says. “You get to see people who know your songs, people who have followed your story and people discovering your music for the first time.”
With Mbarara being the final regional stop before the Kampala show, the singer says he is looking forward to making the experience count.

After Mbarara, attention will shift to Kampala, where the B’rakaland EA finale is scheduled for November.
The Kampala show is expected to bring together the different elements of the tour, including the music, audiences Baraka has encountered along the way and artistes who have joined the journey.
Kenyan star Bien-Aimé Baraza and Ugandan songstress Naava Grey have already been confirmed for the Kampala stage, with more artistes expected to be announced ahead of the finale.
But before Kampala takes centre stage, the road leads west.
This Saturday, Nkore Place in Mbarara becomes the latest stop on Joshua Baraka's Keep Walking journey as B’rakaland makes its final regional appearance before the Kampala homecoming.
