Kampala is getting a new nightlife experience as DJ Alisha prepares to bring The Doll House to 1420 on Thursday, September 24, 2026.
Presented by Alisha and powered by Fourteen Twenty, the event is built around the DJ’s distinctive identity, promising an evening centred on music, energy, style and experience.
For Alisha, the night represents more than another appearance on Kampala’s nightlife calendar. Over the years, Uwase Alisha, popularly known as DJ Alisha, has built a reputation as one of Uganda’s prominent female DJs, taking her sets from Kampala to audiences across Africa and beyond.
Her career has included performances in Ghana, Nigeria, Dubai, the UK, the USA and Australia, reflecting a journey that has steadily expanded beyond the local club scene.
From the decks to major stages
A major part of Alisha’s rise has been her ability to move comfortably between different audiences and musical spaces.
She has performed on some of Uganda’s notable entertainment stages, including the Timeless Kampala Concert featuring Davido, as well as Blankets & Wine alongside international acts such as Konshens and Ayra Starr.
These appearances helped establish her not simply as a club DJ, but as a performer capable of holding her own on large-scale entertainment platforms.
Her career has also extended into mainstream media. In 2023, Alisha joined NRG Radio Uganda, where she co-hosted the NRG AM Show alongside Crysto Panda. She eventually left the station in May 2024 to focus on her DJ career and other opportunities.
Beyond music, her growing profile has attracted major commercial partnerships. In 2024, Alisha signed a multimillion-shilling ambassadorial partnership with Johnnie Walker for the brand’s Love Scotch Affair campaign. She had also previously worked with brands including Tecno and Smirnoff, underlining her growing presence both behind the decks and as a lifestyle personality.
A pause, a reset and a new chapter
Alisha’s story has also included a period away from the nightlife scene.
After stepping back from public life, she later opened up about the break, explaining that it gave her an opportunity to reconnect with herself, her faith and her sense of purpose.
Her return to DJing marked a new chapter for an artist who had already spent years building her identity within Uganda’s entertainment scene.
That evolution is reflected in the identity she now presents publicly. Alisha has embraced the description “The Doll in the Party”, a phrase featured prominently on her social media and one that naturally feeds into the creative direction behind The Doll House.
Enter The Doll House
The Doll House takes that identity and turns it into an event experience.
Set at 1420, the event is expected to bring together the different elements associated with Alisha’s brand music, personality, fashion and nightlife under one distinctive concept.
Rather than positioning itself simply as another DJ night, The Doll House gives the audience a world and visual identity to step into.
For Alisha, it is an opportunity to take the idea of “the doll in the party” beyond a social-media tagline and into a physical nightlife experience.
And with 1420 as the setting, the stage is set for an intimate but energetic night where the music, atmosphere and Alisha’s personality take centre stage.
The Doll House happens Thursday, September 24, 2026, at 1420, presented by DJ Alisha and powered by Fourteen Twenty. Tickets are available on Quicket.
