The Vibez Nzuri 5th Anniversary Celebration went down spectacularly on Saturday, December 21, proving why the concept ascends to the apex of Kampala’s entertainment scene.
Despite an earlier downpour and chilly weather, dedicated revellers began streaming into Gazebo, opposite Total Najjera, as early as 5 PM. By sunset, the revellers were immersed in the Captain Morgan cocktails and other discounted drinks from Uganda Breweries Limited.
The night unfolded into a seamless blend of music, fun, and entertainment, with all the advertised acts delivering electrifying performances. DJ Bugy, Shaz, and Alza ensured the music policy was top-notch, keeping the party alive with an unforgettable set, while Tungi and Rickman had the audience off their feet.

The highlight of the night, however, was Elijah Kitaka, the “Dawa” hitmaker, who left the crowd—a majority of them uptown Gen Z—singing along to every word of his hits like Dawa, Tippy Toe, Touch, and Continue among others. His connection with the audience was electric, proving why he remains a fan favourite in Uganda’s music scene.
Vibez Nzuri to return bigger in 2025
Speaking after the event, Brian Owomugisha, the team lead at Vibez Nzuri, expressed his gratitude to the revellers for their support and turnout. He said that Ugandans are a wonderful audience who love to party and have a good time, and the event was their way of showing appreciation for the support Vibez Nzuri has received over the past five years. Owomugisha added that the team had worked hard to create a unique synergy of enjoyment and was thrilled to see how much the revellers loved it.

The celebration featured perfect Ugandan artistry, living up to its promise of an unforgettable experience. With drinks flowing, great music, and games, the night captured the spirit of Vibez Nzuri: fun, friendship, and memories that last a lifetime.
As the curtains closed on the 5th Anniversary Celebration, one thing was clear: Vibez Nzuri is surely a permanent feature on the Ugandan entertainment calendar.
