iKON Awards has announced a new Ugandan–Kenyan movie co-production following the success of iKON Activate in Kenya.
The iKON Awards launched the first-ever iKON Activate in Abuja, Nigeria, on September 27th, 2025 uniting filmmakers from Nigeria and Uganda.
The iKON Awards 2026 journey kicks off with the activation in Lagos, Nigeria to bring Nollywood and Ugandan film together.
