On Friday, June 28th, Piano People Kampala takes over Safari Maze at Centenary Park, introducing a vibrant, high-energy celebration of African dance music. This dynamic event is set to showcase an eclectic mix of soundscapes, ranging from Amapiano and Afro House to Deep House, Afro Tech, Naija Piano, Gqom, 3 Step, and Kwaito, a true sonic journey across the continent.
This isn’t just another night out in Kampala. It’s a cultural experience rooted in sound, rhythm, and identity. Vibes Nzuri, the powerhouse behind this experience, is curating a space where music lovers can come together to dance, connect, and celebrate Africa’s evolving soundscape.

Piano People Kampala taps into this movement, celebrating the diversity and creativity of African DJs and producers. What To Expect At Piano People
While Amapiano might dominate the charts, the event offers much more. With layers of Afro Tech, Deep House, and Kwaito, attendees can expect a fluid and immersive musical experience. This isn’t a playlist, but it’s a journey curated live by some of Uganda’s and Africa’s most exciting DJs.
From 5 PM till late, the stage will come alive with nonstop music delivered by a carefully selected group of DJs and performers. Headliners include DJ Abu, DJ Denzel UG, DJ Chapat, and DJ Gonza, each known for their genre-bending sets and unmatched energy.
Adding even more flavour to the night are live performances by talents like Cr33D, Deadlock Dziz, Damze, and Uncle Good Vibes (Mayani). These artists are not only performers—they’re storytellers who bring rhythm and soul to life with every beat.
