Old School & Vibe Brunch Returns to Kampala On December 20

Some events return because they have to. Others return because the people demand it. The Old School & Vibe Brunch belongs in the second category. Kampala asked for louder, brighter, and deeper and now Edition Two is officially happening on December 20th at Protea Hotel Kampala Skyz Naguru.

If you missed the first Uganda edition in September, you probably heard about it. The nostalgia-filled atmosphere. The easy laughs. The flawless blend of food, music, and grown, feel-good energy. The type of vibe that takes you back to simpler times without losing the thrill of today. Because of that overwhelming response, the second edition promises a full reboot of what made the first one unforgettable, only this time, it’s supercharged.

This edition comes with a bright, bold dress code: Shades of Orange. There’s something magical about this colour. It’s warm, it’s fun, and it instantly lifts the mood. As guests step into the venue, the sea of orange will set the tone with sunset hues during the day, fiery nightlife energy after dark. It’s an invitation to stand out, but also to blend into a unified, glowing atmosphere.

This isn’t your typical brunch. It’s a 13-hour ride through old-school joy, modern-day flair, and everything in between from 2 PM to 3 AM. You will dance to old-school hits you haven’t heard in years, songs that remind you of tape decks, school crushes, and the days when life moved more slowly. Yet, the DJs will keep the sound fresh, balancing nostalgia with the energy Kampala loves.

And, of course, brunch isn’t brunch without food. Expect trays of delicious bites, refreshing drinks, and the kind of indulgence that fits perfectly with the festive season.

You’ll meet people who appreciate good music, good food, and a good time. You’ll feel the energy of a curated experience crafted by CBA, Creations by Ansley. Their attention to detail ensures this brunch won’t feel ordinary for even a single minute.

Tickets moved fast during the first edition, and this December event promises the same rush, if not more. You can start with the Early Bird ticket at 80K if you grab it in time, or go for the Advance option at 100K once the early phase closes. And if you prefer last-minute decisions, you can still join the fun at the Gate for 150K. Tickets are available here.
