Ugandan songbird Naava Grey, known for her R&B, Soul, and Afro music, is gearing up for a special concert. She will perform at the Kampala Serena Hotel on February 14, 2025. This Valentine’s Day event promises a nostalgic night with songs spanning her career from 2011 to now.
She pledged a memorable performance to her fans while addressing a pre-concert conference on Tuesday afternoon in Kampala.
“I had to reach out to all my contacts to secure Serena Hotel on Valentine’s Day because that is the only venue my fans wanted. I am going to give you your worth and money for all my songs from 2011 to date. The fans should expect several artists I have collaborated with including Ruyonga, Bruno K and Benjie Kasule among others.” – Naava Grey
Naava Grey has an extensive setlist
Naava Grey’s concert setlist will feature hits like “Aliba Wani”, “Nteredde”, and “Alib’omu”, all from her debut album “Naava Grey”. Similarly, fans can also expect to hear “Mon Amie” from her latest collaborations. Her set will likely include “Ninga Omuloge”, another fan favourite known for its special effects in the music video.
During the presser, Naava commended veteran music producer Steve Jean for giving her an opportunity that allowed her to record Nteredde. Despite liking the song then, Naava revealed that Steve Jean warned her that it wouldn’t be hit which wasn’t the case. Steve Jean’s company Fenon is producing the event.
