When the sound of the flowing water of the River Sezibwa meets the rhythm of music, something magical happens, and that magic is the Sounds of Sezibwa. This October, one of Uganda’s most loved outdoor experiences returns for its 6th Edition, offering a one-of-a-kind adventure that blends music, culture, and nature.

From October 31st to November 2nd, 2025, the serene Sezibwa Falls will transform into a lively festival ground filled with sound, colour, and soul. Set in the heart of nature, this three-day and two-night experience invites you to unwind, connect, and celebrate life the Ugandan way.

Day One sets the tone for the weekend with a cosy campfire experience. As the flames dance beneath the stars, spoken word artists will share stories that stir emotion and reflection. Later, the night deepens with an outdoor cinema, offering an intimate way to relax under the open sky. It’s calm, creative, and deeply soulful, the perfect start to a memorable weekend.

On Day Two, the mood shifts into high gear. The festival comes alive with live band performances, Kampala’s favourite DJs, and guest artists who will soon be announced. Expect infectious beats, thrilling performances, and a lively crowd ready to dance the night away. Every note echoes through the trees, merging perfectly with the natural sounds of Sezibwa’s flowing waters.

Sounds of Sezibwa Never Disappoints
Finally, Day Three offers a moment of calm and connection. Festival-goers will explore the beauty of the Sezibwa through guided tours that showcase wildlife, cultural sites, and local traditions. It’s a beautiful reminder of Uganda’s natural richness and the importance of preserving it for generations to come.

Sounds of Sezibwa isn’t just another festival; it’s a movement that celebrates domestic tourism and Ugandan culture. It’s a chance for locals and visitors alike to experience the heart of Uganda through music, storytelling, dance, and the beauty of nature.

Beyond entertainment, the event promotes eco-conscious travel and highlights the cultural heritage surrounding Sezibwa Falls. Visitors can learn about traditional beliefs, historical sites, and the mystical stories tied to the river’s twin streams, believed to have been born of a woman.
