Kampala’s love affair with nostalgic R&B continues this Sunday, May 24th, as the UK-based Old School R&B Brunch makes its highly anticipated return to Mezo Noir for another unforgettable daytime-to-night experience.
Set against the stylish backdrop of one of Kampala’s top lifestyle destinations, the brunch promises an evening packed with classic slow jams, singalong anthems, cocktails, and pure throwback energy. From the golden era of 90s and early 2000s R&B to heartbreak records that still hit the soul today, the event is designed for music lovers who appreciate timeless sounds and grown vibes.
This edition will be hosted by UK entertainer and crowd favorite Illa The Host, with music expected from selectors and DJs blending smooth R&B classics with party favorites throughout the night. Promo teasers have also mentioned names like Reiss, Mxlovin, and City Girl among the featured entertainers building the atmosphere for the Kampala edition.
The brunch has steadily built a reputation for creating immersive experiences that go beyond music, combining fashion, social culture, food, cocktails, and nostalgic storytelling through sound.
