Rise and Brunch Returns: Kampala’s Favorite Brunch Is Back This August 3rd

Get ready for another exciting edition of Rise and Brunch, Kampala’s most eagerly awaited brunch event! The organisers recently announced through their Instagram page, Rise And Brunch EAthat the sixth edition is set to take place on August 3rd. The event is powered by Camelot Concepts, Raha Fest, Events Limited, a tent rental service and Tujaguze (ticketing partner), with production partners including Ssese Nation and Digida Events.

The Rise & Brunch experience is a vibrant and immersive event that combines great food, refreshing drinks, and fantastic music to create an unforgettable atmosphere. It’s a journey through time, featuring R&B classics that evoke memories of first loves, heartbreaks, and iconic movie soundtracks.

Attendees can expect an immersive experience that blends elements of a fashion show, photo shoot, and karaoke, allowing them to let loose and have fun. Line dancing, singing along to favourite tunes, and enjoying the company of friends and like-minded people are all part of the vibe.

Details about the headline performer are still scanty, but rumour has it that it will be a South African DJ. The venue for the next edition is expected to be Mestil Hotel & Residences, although this has not been officially confirmed.

Previous beverage sponsors have included Freixenet, Heineken, and Tanqueray in Uganda, and G69 London Dry Gin for the last Kigali edition. However, the sponsors for this edition have yet to be announced. Stay tuned for more updates as the event approaches. Tickets for Rise and brunch cost 250,000, with early bird passes available for 200,000.
